Goalie Equipment

The goal equipment industry is one of the most competitive markets in North America. It is constantly changing requiring a deep understanding of the position to keep up with technological advances.

How has Klondike been able to stay in this competitive market for almost 30 years while others have come and gone? The answer is PASSION; passion for the game, passion to see young goalies develop to their highest potential, and passion to service every customer beyond their needs.

In 1987 our passion drove us to expand to our second level, which is now, during every hockey season, devoted entirely to displaying our huge selection of goal equipment. Today our passion continues to drive us to find better ways to service our customers.

We have recently added services such as on site equipment repairs and partnered with organizations such as the Goalie Center and St. FX Hockey Academy.

Try Before You Buy!

As the prices of goal equipment have risen over the past years, we have found more of our customers becoming hesitant to make expensive purchases on a product that they are unsure of how well it will perform on the ice.

Unfortunately there is a big difference between our sales floor and an ice surface, therefore making an educated decision very difficult and unsettling.

Klondike Sports has an equipment demo that will allow our customers to try out certain models of pads, catchers and blockers before making a confident decision.

Used Equipment

We know that a lot of consumers prefer the benefits that come with buying used equipment.

That is why we have one of the largest selections of used goalie equipment in Northern Alberta.

Whether you are looking for a pair of street hockey pads or looking for a good deal on a top of the line pair of pads, we have the selection. We also have used catchers, blockers, skates and arm and chest protectors.

Our used inventory is constantly changing so come in often to check out what is new in used inventory; or better yet, tell us what you need and you will be first in line when its traded in!

Trade-Ins

At Klondike we work hard to bring you great prices and give you a fair trade in value for your equipment.

We do not do consignment sales or buy used equipment. Equipment is usually accepted on a 1:1 ration, such as a pair of pads for a pair of pads.

There come a time for all equipment to say "good-bye" and so Klondike reserves the right to refuse any trade-ins that we deem not sellable or unsafe to resell.

If you are purchasing a new set of equipment and wish to trade in your old equipment, we can make arrangements for you to take your brand new equipment and use your trade-ins until you feel 100% comfortable in your new gear.
